November 6, 2013 5:51 AM

Lompoc police will get another tool to fight the use of synthetic drugs after the City Council voted to draft an ordinance banning the possession of the increasingly popular drugs called "bath salts" and "spice."

The council voted 3-0 to direct city staff to prepare an ordinance and return to the council for final approval.
