A native of Santa Barbara was born on June 8, 1926 to the late Ernest A. Ruiz and Annabell Beltramo Ruiz. Our loving mother, Annabell J. Ruiz peacefully passed away on February 6, 2013.
She was a practicing Cosmetologist for many years, member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, the Moose Lodge and the Ascendentes of Santa Barbara. Those who knew Annabell remember her welcoming smile and generosity.
She is survived by her daughters Magdalena Torres and Linda Torres-Fuller, surviving siblings Ramilda Ruiz Ornelas and Paul Ruiz, as well as other relatives and friends. She has been welcomed in heaven by her late brothers and sisters Sebastian, Anthony, Katherine, Julius, Ernie, Everette, Steven and Rene.
A mass will will be held in celebration of her life at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 21 East Sola Street on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:00am. Annabell invites your attendance and welcomes you with her love.
The family would like to thank Buena Vista Care Center and Visiting Nurses & Hospice Care of Santa Barbara, friends and family for their love, prayers and support.
