83, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved on February 8, 2013. Daniel was born in Sinaloa, Mexico on November 1, 1929. He was predeceased by his wife Aurelia Osuna, of 43 years. He is survived by his children, Daniel (Karen), Maggie (Jose), Jesus (Blanca), Carlos, Araceli, 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Family and friends were Daniels passion and joy.

Visitation will be held on Thursday at Welch- Ryce-Haider from Noon to 5:00 pm. followed by the rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Carpinteria. Mass will be Friday, 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Church followed by the interment at Carpinteria Valley Cemetery.
