BAKER, Reba Ruth
March 2, 2013 7:25 AM
Reba Ruth Baker, born June 24, 1917, passed quietly in her sleep the evening of February 24, 2013. Mother of Shari, Bonnie and Reenie; grandmother of Jeanne and Debbie, great grand mother of Win and Holt; and surrogate mother to thousands of foreign students whom she taught at UCSB from 1975 until her recent illness. Her most precious connection was wife and partner to her husband UCSB Prof. B.R. Baker, who passed away in 1971.
