Was born on May 1, 1926 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Connie was the youngest of three sisters, Dorothy and Phyllis. Connie moved to California to work at Sun Life Insurance and married her first husband, Robert Allen. Connie then went to work in the Business Affairs' Office at California State University, Northridge as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President. When Robert passed away suddenly, Connie moved to Santa Barbara. In 2003, she met her second husband, Raphael Cardenas. They were married at the Old Mission Church on January 23, 2010. Connie passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 of cancer. Her family will always remember Connie as the warm and caring person who would dance the jig in her kitchen, and who always told them that she "loved them bunches".
