CHAMBERS, Sharon L. (Pimentel)

April 17, 2013 5:42 AM

Sharon Chambers was born on February 9th, 1953 and passed away peacefully on April 11, 2013 with her family by her side. She grew up in Santa Barbara attending local schools Franklin Elementary, Santa Barbara Junior High and graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1972. Throughout her life, she lived in many parts of the United States. Most recently, she lived several years in Hollister, California and was currently residing in Camp Verde, Arizona.

Sharon is survived by her parents Mitchell and Mary Pimentel, her brothers, Raymond Pimentel (Christy), Vincent Pimentel (Patty), her daughters, Marylee Moore (Russell), Michelle Kendall (Diron), Chrystal Roascio (Brandon) and her son Ernest Chambers III. Sharon loved and was extremely proud of her 10 grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jonathan, Laura Marie, Alyshia, Alexia, Diron, Wyatt, Maddie and Peyton and her great grandchild Keirson. Sharon also leaves behind her former husband Ernest Chambers Jr., many nieces and nephews and goddaughter Melanie Pimentel, who was very special to her.

Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family. She leaves behind many fond memories of many family trips, Bar-B-Q's and her fondness for slot machines! She was a very giving and caring person but was definitely no push over and could certainly hold her own! Sharon will be missed by the many friends she's made over the years. Her family will also miss her deeply and will cherish the many special moments they spent with her. She will remain with us always. Special thanks to Marylee and Russell for opening their home and their hearts.

Viewing and Chapel services will be held at Welch-Ryce-Haider Funeral Chapel at 15 E Sola St. Santa Barbara. Viewing will be from 1:00 to 5:00 on Thursday April 18th and Chapel services will be held at 10:00 on Friday April 19, 2013. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 199 N. Hope Ave, Santa Barbara. Reception to follow burial at the Moose Lodge, 110 W. Victoria in Santa Barbara.
