OLIVUS, John Cabrera

May 15, 1921 - Aug. 31, 2013

R.I.P. - Staff Sgt John "Cisco" Olivus, Pearl Harbor survivor. Husband, father, grandfather great grandfather. He was stationed at Schofield Barracks on Hawaii when Pearl Harbor was attacked. He also served in five campaigns and received two Purple Hearts.

Preceded in death by his wife Esther and 2 brothers, Silverio and Thomas Olivares and his parents Ventura and Angelita Olivares from Carpinteria. Survived by sisters, Rosie (Robert) Rosalez, Mary (Mel) Solano from Santa Barbara and a sister Connie Olivares from Las Vegas and by brother Tony (Dianne) Olivares from Carpinteria, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in Irvine, CA.
