July 15, 1962 - September 1, 2013
Richard (Herm) was born in Santa Barbara, CA growing up on the Mesa, he attended our local schools. Richard struggled with a long illness that eventually took his life. Richard loved being a truck driver. Being a Boy Scout, Troop #15, which showed Richard's enthusiasm for the outdoors; camping and fishing. He loved water skiing, music, but more than anything being with friends and family.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Anna L. Herman, mother Rosalie Larson, stepfather Bob Larson, Franklin Herman (deceased father), four children: Alena M., Reyna, Robert P. Herman, Kianna M. Herman, Nicco F. Herman. He also is survived by two granddaughters Leilani M. Herman-Mendoza and Lilo Davis, as well as brother Stephen Herman, sister Beverly Daniels, and brother-in-law Brad Daniels. He had many nieces and nephews.
Immediate family, and Richard's best friend Steve Torres and wife Dora were there to say goodbye!
Memorial Services will be held this Saturday, 11:00 at McDermott-Crockett Mortuary 2020 Chapala Street and Celebration of Life Reception at Goleta Community Center immediately following. All are welcome!
"Herm we love and miss you so much, it's not goodbye but until we see you again."
