Text can be submitted by email to obits@newspress.com, faxed to (805) 966-1421, or brought in to our De La Guerra Plaza office or Lompoc office at 908 North "H" Street. The deadline for next day's edition is 12 noon previous day. The weekend and Monday's edition deadline is at 12 noon on Friday.

All obituaries must be prepaid. We accept all major credit cards by phone. Check or cash can also be brought into our office. The cost is approximately $6.00/per line. A Line consists of approximately 75 characters, which include spaces & punctuation. Photos can be submitted digitally (jpeg format/at least 200 dpi) or an original can be brought into our office for scanning.

GUTIERREZ, Frank L.
 Frank L. Gutierrez Sr. (KUIC) 67. Born 1940 in Santa Barbara, California. Passed away on May 7, 2008. He was a devoted, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, coach and friend.  Dad was born on August 25, 1940 in a small house just below city college.  Braulio "Lalo" Jimenez, 72, of Santa Barbara, died Thursday May 8, 2008.  He was born April 18, 1936 in Tepatitlan, Jalisco Mexico, to Rumaldo and Maria Felicitas Jimenez.
