 A Santa Barbara Treasure

In the heart of Santa Barbara there is a paradise for the entire community. Elings Park is Santa Barbara's largest park and most diverse recreational space in the City of Santa Barbara. And it's here for you!
Fun for Kids! Join us for Elings Park Summer Camps and participate in Nature Camp, Baseball Camp, Soccer Camp, Softball Camp, Activity Camp and Theatre Camp. One week sessions run from June 20-August 26, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Extended care is also available.
BMX! The bicycle moto-cross (BMX) track operates all year long with practices and races on Wednesday and Friday evenings and occasionally on weekends. This sport is open for both adults and youth.
EPDOG! Register your dogs with the Elings Park Dog Owners Group for an annual fee and enjoy a place to exercise with your dogs off leash.
Paragliding & Hang Gliding! The gentle prevailing breezes from the ocean make the spectacular Elings Park South hillside a favorite for those who like to soar.
Soccer! Two beautiful full-size soccer fields are home to many adult and youth soccer leagues and tournaments.
Softball! Adult softball leagues play in the Park at the Castagnola Complex nearly year round.
Baseball! The three fields of the Castagnola Complex are also available for PONY League and Elings Park Club League baseball practice and play.
Weddings & Special Events!
Godric Grove and Singleton Pavilion are beautiful venues with panoramic vistas for weddings and other special events. Four other picnic areas and the soccer fields are available for corporate picnics, parties and celebrations of all sizes. If you dream of an evening under the stars or a daytime celebration, these venues provide an elegant backdrop for your special event.
is unique in that it is one of only a few non-profit 501(c)(3) parks in Santa Barbara and the Tri-Counties area. The Park receives NO TAX DOLLARS for operations and relies on grants, park use fees and donations from generous people to keep the park open. Celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, Elings Park is one of the most successful brownfield conversions in the West - a park built by the community for the community.
