R.A.D.D. Thrift Store is operating at 530 State Street, between Cota and Haley streets, and is accessible from the Downtown City Parking Lot # 11. R.A.D.D. (Rendering Aid to the Disabled and Disadvantaged) has been a local favorite for many years and still follows the principles of being a truly authentic thrift store. It fills many needs in our community, offering a huge array of inventory at low cost and discounted prices and by doing so is keeping these "used before items" from entering the landfill.
R.A.D.D. provides a safe working environment for Work Training Program Inc. (W.T.P. Inc.) clients. Together with W.T.P. Inc., R.A.D.D. employs developmentally disabled adults who gain self-reliance, self-esteem and pride in themselves in their work. Without our W.T.P. Inc. clients, R.A.D.D. would not be R.A.D.D.!
Thanks to the generosity of our community we presently have no need to solicit for donations. R.A.D.D. accepts almost everything: clothing, furniture, tools, toys, books, bric-a-brac, paintings and much more. This enables R.A.D.D. to offer an endless variety of items to disabled adults, students, low-income families, homeless, even collectors and treasure hunters.
Throughout the year, R.A.D.D. helps the student population with their household and scholastic needs. Both student and families alike can utilize R.A.D.D.'s service to dissolve a household if necessary.
R.A.D.D. has recently changed management and ownership and is fully recognized by the State of California as a nonprofit organization; thus, all donations are tax deductible. La tienda R.A.D.D. Trift Store esta ubicada en el 530 calle State, entre la calle Cota y la calle Haley. Tambien es accesible por el estacionamiento numero 11. Como tienda de aritculos de segunda mano, R.A.D.D. tiene muchos anos de servicio a la comunidad de Santa Barbara y tiene la fama de ser autentica y profecional. R.A.D.D. siempre provee a la gente una variedad de materiales, tales como ropa, aparatos electronicos y otros articulos para la casa, a precios verdaderamente rebajados.
R.A.D.D. da trabajo a la gente de W.T.P. (Work Training Program) y emplea a personas discapacitadas, con impedimentos fisicos y mentales, y de esta manera contribuye a la totalidad de la comunidad de Santa Barbara.

R.A.D.D. tiene nuevo propietario, y es tienda reconocida por el estado de California como entidad legal sin fines de lucro. Todo lo que es donado a R.A.D.D. se puede deducir de los impuestos.
