Pet Of The Week 12/28/05
Two-year-old Cupid is a fluffy Chihuahua mix with beautiful light-brown hair. Shy at first, he warms up once he gets to know you. Cupid loves to lie in a lap and be groomed. The gentle dog would get along best in a calm, adult household with someone to dote on him frequently.
Cupid is awaiting adoption through Dog Adoption and Welfare Group, 5480 Overpass Road. Winter hours are noon to 5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Other hours by appointment. For more information, call 681-0561, e-mail dawgnsb@aol.com or visit www.sbdawg.com.
All DAWG dogs are spayed/neutered, have all current shots, have a HomeAgain chip, wear Frontline flea and tick protection and are eligible for consultation with trainer as needed.
DAWG is a nonprofit, no-kill shelter run by volunteers who walk, train and care for the dogs. For information about volunteering, call 681-0561 or e-mail dawgbark@hotmail.com.
