Sheldon elected board president 12/28/05
Beverly J. Sheldon has been elected president of the Community Arts Music Association Women's Board. Mrs. Sheldon, a Santa Barbara resident since 1988, recently retired from UCSB, where she served as the associate director of admissions and relations with schools, and as the director of the Visitor Center. She is a board member of the Pearl Chase Society and the Unitarian Society. She is also a member of CAMA's Events Committee, the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Museum League and the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County's Empty Bowls Committee. She has raised funds for Casa Esperanza and is a member of UCSB's Chancellor's Council. Other Women's Board officers include Patti Ottoboni, vice president; Judy Writer, vice president; Doris M. Kuhns, recording secretary; Linda Proud, corresponding secretary; Polly B. Clement, treasurer; and Nancy L. Wood, past president.
