The goal of Bob's Vacuum is to help its customers choose the right vacuum for their needs. To do this, Bob's carries a wide selection of vacuum brands and models. The selection includes upright vacuums to canister vacuums, high volume brands to specialty brands, and small hand vacuums to deluxe models with many advanced features. Vacuum brands include Miele, Eureka, Panasonic, Hoover, Simplicity, Sanitaire, Lindhaus and Oreck.

To help the customer choose the right vacuum, Bob's staff of vacuum experts determines with the customer the factors that should be considered in their vacuum selection. The factors that are reviewed include carpet vs. hard floor area, type of carpet, furniture and drapes, stairs, pets, allergies and budget.

Bob's has more than 90 vacuum models on display to allow customers to see and try the vacuums and understand how they will meet their needs. The vacuum experts at Bob's also explain how to use the different features of the products so the customer can take full advantage of the products they buy. Bob's staff also has Spanish-speaking vacuum experts.

With the large selection to choose from and the expert advice available, customers are able to walk out the door with the right vacuum, already assembled, and the know-how to use it properly.

Sales of bags, belts, filters and other floor cleaning supplies are a major activity at Bob's. Hundreds of different types of vacuum bags, belts and filters are available. With the experience of Bob's people and a large inventory, almost all customers are able to find the bags, belts or filters they need. Many customers buy attachments such as special brushes and nozzles, to improve the cleaning flexibility of their vacuums. Bob's has a wide selection of vacuum attachments and can help the customer select what they need.

Vacuum repairs are an important part of Bob's business. About ten vacuums per day are brought in for repair. With an inventory of tens of thousands of dollars of repair parts, Bob's can almost always make the required repairs from parts in stock and return the vacuum in one or two days. If unique parts are required, Bob's can order parts for all standard vacuum brands and many specialty brands. The repairs are done by qualified technicians with many years of experience. They are well trained and have the necessary equipment and tools to provide quality, guaranteed repairs.

Carpet cleaning extractors and chemicals are another area of expertise. Carpet cleaning extractor machines are included in Bob's product lines. Carpet cleaning chemicals from Hoover, Kirby, Bissell, Folex, Oreck and Carpet Details are always in stock. Other special purpose cleaning chemicals are also available.
