The Santa Barbara News-Press Newspaper in Education Program brings newspapers into local classrooms where they are used as educational resources in every content area. Santa Barbara is fortunate to have a large number of local businesses as Partners in Education whose generous donations make it possible to supply newspapers to participating classrooms free of charge. - Promotes the newspaper as a practical and current in-class teaching aid to use with students in all subjects and grade levels
- Provides an educational tool to encourage parent-child interaction, discussion and development
Participating in the Santa Barbara News-Press Newspaper in Education Program can:

Newspapers in Education is a community service program of the Santa Barbara News-Press which allows businesses to sponsor classroom sets of newspapers to schools.
