Hoof N'Boots Camp (Sponsored by the Montecito Family YMCA)
Campers receive excellent instruction on English riding, grooming and caring for a horse. Children will gain the confidence to become safe and skilled riders. Ages 7 - 14. Supervisor/child ratio 1:3. $220 per week plus membership. Session I: June 21 - 25; session II: July 5 - 9; session III: August 2 - 6. Horseman's Hangout
Children earn badges for their accomplishments and come away with a thorough knowledge of all the basics of being around horses, handling horses, caring for horses and riding horses. It is a fun environment, yet is for the serious student that wants to advance their knowledge and skills. All ages. Camp 1 - Session I (Intro/Inter): June 21 - 25; session II: July 5 - 9. Cost is $825. Camp 2 - Session I (Intro/Inter): August 16 - 20; session II: August 30 - September 3. Cost is $825. I can take graduate students of these Camps into a Continuing Education Program during the weeks of June 28 - July 2, July 12 - 16, August 9 - 13 and August 23 - 27. Santa Barbara Zoo Camp
Sessions include games, workshops, behind-the-scenes visits, up-close animal encounters, hands-on science and crafts. Three themed programs introduce kids to the wild world of animals and science. Age 3 through 7th graders. Supervisor/child ratio 1:4. $152/non-members; $135/members. Standard day: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday; extended day: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday (additional fee for extended day, limited space). Located at the Santa Barbara Zoo. Summer Animal Camp (Sponsored by the
Santa Barbara Humane Society)

Learn more about animals, the Humane Society and ways to help animals. Includes responsible pet care, animal welfare, animal behavior, crafts and more. Ages 8 - 11. Supervisor/child ratio 1:4. $60 for members, $75 for non-members per week. Session I: July 19 - 23, 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Session II: August 2 - 6, 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Session III (stand-by): August 16 - 20, 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Located at the Santa Barbara Humane Society.
