Actor and funnyman Adam Sandler was in and out of Santa Barbara on Thursday night.

First he accepted the Maltin Modern Master Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, then he capped the night off with some burgers and fries at In-N-Out in the Goleta Valley.

The Santa Barbara News-Press team of Aston Smith and Anika Brodnansky were among the few to get an interview with Sandler as he walked the Red Carpet, en route to his sit-down interview with journalist Leonard Maltin.
