SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA — Indivisible Santa Barbara proudly endorses Kristen Sneddon for Mayor of the City of Santa Barbara.
Kristen will bring forward looking leadership to the office of Mayor. She is a champion for the environment, with the expertise that comes from graduate studies in Applied and Environmental Geophysics. While serving for nine years on the City Council advocating for her constituents, she has also taught Environmental Geology at Santa Barbara City College. She understands how families are being hurt by rising costs and has worked tirelessly to address our housing crisis, our budget issues and our environmental concerns. She has a very strong work ethic, is knowledgeable, and is willing to help resolve difficult issues with integrity and a keen intellect.
But Kristen does more than merely check the boxes of greatest concern to Indivisible. Her personal qualities are impressive. She has a rare capacity to listen, reason and build consensus. She is equal parts wisdom, strength and compassion.
