For two nights only, Motown legends and rock stars will perform a private concert at Kevin Costner’s beachfront mansion in Montecito—with proceeds benefiting Santa Barbara County’s first responders.
“Every ticket purchased helps ensure Santa Barbara County’s first responders have the resources they need when our community needs them most,” said Kristen Cavendish Weston-Smith, CEO of One805.
The annual One805Live! concert returns Sept. 25-26 with a stacked lineup of performers, including The Temptations, Alan Parsons, Pat Benatar, Slightly Stoopid and The Fray. General admission attendees can enjoy cocktails and a variety of food trucks.
One805, the Santa Barbara County-based nonprofit organizing the concert, started in 2018 after the deadly Montecito mudflows following the Thomas Fire.
Proceeds from the annual One805Live! concert go toward emergency financial assistance, equipment, disaster preparedness and mental wellness for Santa Barbara County fire, sheriff and police.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown, Santa Barbara Fire Chief Chris Mailes and Santa Barbara City Police Chief Kelly Ann Gordon are among some of the members on the One805 advisory board.
“I don’t think we can actually do enough for our first responders,” Costner said. “805 has been right in the middle of that.”
