Two cars crashed on Highway 154 near Los Olivos on Wednesday afternoon, temporarily closing the freeway for nearly an hour. 

Two women suffered moderate injuries from the collision, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

first responders were called to a crash at the Highway 154 and Roblar Avenue intersection at 4:20 p.m. 

The two people injured were taken to Dignity Health Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, according to Karen Cruz-Orduña, public education officer for the county fire department.
