Paula “Pauli” Pappas Myers, 61, passed away on October 2nd, 2026, in Westminster, CA.

Paula was born on March 24, 1965, to Debra Joan Poulis and Thales Louis Pappas in Santa Barbara, CA, the youngest of three daughters. She graduated from San Marcos High School in 1983 and continued to receive an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Santa Barbara Business College.

Paula loved to cook and flourished in the culinary field all throughout her life. She started as a waitress and bartender at Cody’s restaurant and moved on to greater roles such as the Head of Catering for the Miramar Hotel and the Event Coordinator and Sous Chef for The American Bounty Catering Company. She was an incredibly talented cook and sought after by many to cater events.

Paula had a greater love and passion for her family above anything else. She met her husband Martin “Marty” Robert Myers and they were married in 2000. She welcomed her son, Kevin Louis Pappas, 32, and her daughter, Demietra Olivia Myers, 24, beginning what would be the most cherished role in her life: being a mother.

Paula is predeceased by her father and mother, Thales and Debra, as well as her sister Gail Pappas. She is survived by her two children, Kevin and Demie as well as her sister Marissa Brummond. She is further survived by a large extended family including her nephew, Taylor Brummond, her brother-in-law, Jerry Brummond, her aunt, Karin Poulis, her uncle, William Poulis and many more.

Paula’s life was full of joy, love, faith, and laughter despite any obstacles she faced. Although she will be missed tremendously, Paula will be remembered by her family and friends for her remarkable faith in God through the trials in her life, deep generosity to those she loved, her untethered sense of humor, and countless other beautiful qualities that made her so special to everyone who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on November 15th, 2026, at Calvary Chapel located at 1 N. Calle Cesar Chavez, Suite 21, Santa Barbara, California.
