The Santa Barbara News-Press held its first public event last Thursday, and it was, by all accounts, a rousing success.
Journalist Jerry Roberts interviewed author Susan Page about her new book, “The Queen and Her Presidents: The Hidden Hand That Shaped History.”
I had the pleasure of introducing the two A-listers of journalism. News-Press General Manager Will Belfiore welcomed the audience to the event. The entire evening was recorded by TVSB and will air on their channels soon.
Roberts and Page engaged in delightful banter and conversation about the late queen and her influence on American politics. Prior to the talk, guests enjoyed wine and appetizers at the CEC Hub in downtown Santa Barbara.
